The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Kenichi Hosakawa and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lowry wants to clinch but Mcclain slips to the side
and Mcclain counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lowry won't be happy with that.
Lowry tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Mcclain working the head with strikes.
Lowry tries to bench press Mcclain off him but Mcclain keeps the position.
Check out the look on Mcclain's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Lowry is trying to buck Mcclain off.
Mcclain is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Lowry knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mcclain thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Mcclain goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Lowry has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Mcclain but great work by Lowry.

Mcclain manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Mcclain regains full guard. Nicely done.
Lowry drops back looking for a leg! Mcclain is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mcclain manages to kick Lowry off! Lowry jumps back into Mcclain's guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Mcclain pushes Lowry off and scrambles back to his feet.
Mcclain throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lowry sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Mcclain scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Mcclain seems to be looking for submissions.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
