And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Chris Edwards and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kojo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Gavric paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Kojo fails with the takedown
and Gavric decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kojo's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Gavric content to stall in guard here.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Gavric advances position into side control!

Kojo is trying to work for a sweep but Gavric has mounted him!
Kojo is breathing heavily.
Gavric quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Gavric but it's paid off an Kojo is forced to tap! Nice work by Gavric.

A relieved looking Mica Gavric thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
