Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Noel Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonny Bones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith comes to the cage accompanied by Duality - Slipknot. Bones has chosen Fight Music D12 as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jonny Bones has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Steve Montenegro and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith lands a nice shot to the body.
Bones looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Smith throws a big shot that misses.
Bones fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Smith.
Smith just misses with a punch to the body.
Smith takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Smith lands a body shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bones throws a looping overhand right but Smith ducks down to avoid it.
Bones on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
A nice leg kick lands there from Bones.
Smith misses with a wild body shot.
Bones throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Smith scores with a leg kick.
Smith looks to land a right hand but Bones moved out of range.
Bones finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
A shot to the liver by Smith. Beautiful body shot.
Smith scores with a jab to the jaw.
Smith misses with a left hand
and Bones counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Bones pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Smith is keeping the position for now.
My spies in Farrell Pikey Camp inform me that Bones has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Bones stops Smith from standing up.
Bones loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Bones throws a strike but Smith rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Bones wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bones has his foot on Smith's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Smith works his way back into a safe position though.

Smith is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Bones tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Bones is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Bones has control of Smith's left arm, preventing Smith from doing any damage.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Noel Smith wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Bones walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Smith checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Smith swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Smith misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bones.
Bones looks to throw the jab but Smith is out of range.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Smith goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Smith lands a nice leg kick that just misses Bones's sensitive parts.
Bones avoids the body shot from Smith.
Smith throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Bones looks winded!
Smith slips under a jab from Bones.
A slow jab from Bones misses its intended target.
Smith fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bones manages to avoid it.
Bones ducks under a wild hook from Smith.
Bones is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Bones misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bones tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Smith lands a leg kick that knocks Bones off balance momentarily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bones. Smith does a little dance to reset his feet.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Smith drops Bones with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Bones looks back up at him and smiles so Smith waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Bones is rocked!
It looks like Jonny Bones has been cut.
Smith drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Bones's head, knocking him out cold! Smith is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Noel Smith!
During a confident post fight interview, Noel Smith thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
