Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Timo Takka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kos Pellegrino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Takka comes to the cage accompanied by Kavinsky - Nightcall. Pellegrino has chosen Meiju Suvas - Pure Mua as his entrance music. Timo Takka had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Timo Takka ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kos Pellegrino! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Jorge Garcia and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Takka looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Takka wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Takka fails in his attempt to clinch. Takka throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Pellegrino fails in his attempt to clinch. Takka looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pellegrino is fending him off so far but Takka persists. Nope, Pellegrino circles away and we're back to standing. Pellegrino has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Pellegrino blocks the body kick.
Takka wants to clinch. Pellegrino tries to close the distance and clinch but Takka swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Takka scores with a hook. Pellegrino plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Pellegrino fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Takka , pushing him back against the cage. Takka is trying to force a seperation but Pellegrino has the dominant position. OK we're going to have a standup here. Kos Pellegrino hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Pellegrino lands a nice leg kick that just misses Takka 's sensitive parts. Pellegrino moves in looking to clinch but Takka pushes him off.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A combination from Pellegrino does no damage. Takka fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Pellegrino tries to clinch up. Takka shoots in and bounces Pellegrino off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Takka with a flurry of punches that miss. Takka wants to pass the guard but Pellegrino is keeping the position. Pellegrino manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Takka manages to get himself to full guard.
Pellegrino is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Pellegrino must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Takka is trying to control the position but Pellegrino postures up. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Takka holds on and takes a little breather. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Timo Takka . The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Takka throws a head kick but Pellegrino moves out of range.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Pellegrino darts in and clinches Takka up against the cage. Takka looking to throw knees to the head but Pellegrino is blocking nicely.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Pellegrino blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Pellegrino unloads a knee to the mid-section. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Pellegrino closes the distance and pushes Takka back into the cage. Takka lands an elbow that stopped Pellegrino in his tracks for a moment. Pellegrino tries a knee to the head but Takka blocks it.

Takka throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Pellegrino counters with a lovely shot to the body. Pellegrino lands a glancing blow to the side of Takka 's head. Pellegrino lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Takka lands with an uppercut that bounces Pellegrino off the cage and back into range. Pellegrino moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kos Pellegrino showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Kos Pellegrino's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
