The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carneiro gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Hovimaki counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Carneiro shoots and misses
and Hovimaki counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Hovimaki scores with a jab.
Hovimaki stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Carneiro misses with a takedown
and Carneiro takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Hovimaki lands a big uppercut and Carneiro crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Carneiro looks OK. Hovimaki waves Carneiro back to his feet!
Carneiro is rocked!
Hovimaki lands a nice hook to Carneiro's body. Carneiro takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Oh Carneiro is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hovimaki drops Carneiro with a naaaaasty hook - Carneiro is in real trouble here! Hovimaki dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
