Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Taisto Rahapussi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gustavo Bergasmarchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Rahapussi might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Caged in A Rage . Taisto Rahapussi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gustavo Bergasmarchi! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bergasmarchi keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Rahapussi. Bergasmarchi tries for a takedown but Rahapussi sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Rahapussi wants to land a leg kick but Bergasmarchi is out of range. Bergasmarchi moves away from the strike by Rahapussi. Rahapussi seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Bergasmarchi avoids a kick to the body.
Rahapussi lands with a nice body punch. Rahapussi lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Bergasmarchi looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Bergasmarchi on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. We've been informed that Bergasmarchi has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. A swing and a miss from Bergasmarchi. Rahapussi displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bergasmarchi. Taisto Rahapussi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gustavo Bergasmarchi. Rahapussi ducks under a wild hook from Bergasmarchi. Bergasmarchi throws a big shot that misses. Bergasmarchi throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Rahapussi tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Bergasmarchi is in Rahapussi's guard. Rahapussi pushes a forearm under Bergasmarchi's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Bergasmarchi is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
