And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Peter Branson and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab lands there for Castile.
Taveras moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Castile scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Castile lands with a nice body punch.
Taveras misses with an uppercut. Castile saw that one coming.
Castile slips a straight right by Taveras.
Castile slips a jab from Taveras.
Taveras tries to bum rush Castile with a series of wild strikes but Castile uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Castile swings for the body but Taveras moves out of range.
Castile lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Castile.
Castile lunges at Taveras with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Taveras's hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Castile will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Castile has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Castile takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Rudolf Castile seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Castile scores with the left hand. Taveras knows he should have avoided that one.
Taveras slips a jab and a cross from Castile.
Castile dodges the punch combination from Taveras.
Castile throws a big shot that misses.
Castile moves forwards but Taveras connects with a nice, crisp jab.
It looks like Rudolf Castile has been cut.
Taveras cracks Castile with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Castile looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Taveras finish him?
Castile is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Taveras rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Castile moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Castile is still on wobbly legs! Can Taveras finish him?

Castile just misses with a punch to the body.
Castile fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Castile seems to have recovered his senses.
Taveras throws a series of punches but Castile moves out of range.
Taveras plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Castile swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Castile face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
