Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Doctor Cupitmasha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Tatam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Doctor Cupitmasha! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tom Tatam! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Winston Alpacca and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tatam drives through with a takedown into Cupitmasha's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Cupitmasha working a defensive guard here.
Tatam won't allow Cupitmasha to sweep him here. Cupitmasha working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tatam doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tatam manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Tatam throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Cupitmasha works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Tatam throws a strike but Cupitmasha rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Cupitmasha tries to stand but Tatam is controlling from the bottom. Cupitmasha trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tatam wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Cupitmasha wants to control from the top but Tatam keeps moving. Cupitmasha is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Tatam controlling the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Doctor Cupitmasha wasn't doing enough on the ground. Cupitmasha tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Tatam defends well and Cupitmasha ends up having to push Tatam into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Cupitmasha can't get the takedown.
Tatam tries to stall but Cupitmasha uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Tatam has a couple of punches blocked by Cupitmasha.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Cupitmasha wants to take the fight to the mat but Tatam manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Doctor Cupitmasha. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tatam stalling in the clinch but Cupitmasha improves position. Tatam throws a jab when Cupitmasha was well out of range. Tatam shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Cupitmasha napping and manages to drive through into side control! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Tatam taking a breather here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cupitmasha tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Tatam wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Tatam landing strikes. Tatam landing strikes. Cupitmasha is trying to control Tatam's posture but Tatam avoids it. Tatam in side control, just content to control the action for now. Tatam lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. You can see the frustration on Cupitmasha's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Tatam really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cupitmasha. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cupitmasha tries to buck Tatam off but Tatam is having none of it. We've been informed that Tatam has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Cupitmasha seems a little lost for a moment, as Tatam dominates the positioning. Cupitmasha is trying to get back to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cupitmasha is trying to escape the position but Tatam is controlling the position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cupitmasha is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Tatam is one step ahead and moves to full mount! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Cupitmasha sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Tatam controlling the pace. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tom Tatam dominated that round. That's time! Cupitmasha's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Tatam closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Tatam is thwarting Cupitmasha's attempts to control the position. Tatam controlling the action here. Tatam lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Tatam with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Cupitmasha wants to improve his position but Tatam is controlling well.

That's one minute gone in the round. Cupitmasha makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Cupitmasha. Cupitmasha trying to keep a closed guard but Tatam is proving a slippery customer.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Tom Tatam. Cupitmasha fails with a takedown attempt. Tatam bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Cupitmasha tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Tatam wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cupitmasha is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Tatam is controlling him well. Cupitmasha manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Cupitmasha tries to roll over but Tatam keeps him under control. Tatam missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Tatam is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tatam takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Tatam's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tatam winds up and cracks Cupitmasha with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Cupitmasha trying to hold on to Tatam's head to control him but Tatam postures up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Cupitmasha shoots and misses and Tatam counters with a takedown into side control. Tatam in side control lands a decent elbow. Tatam in side control, just content to control the action for now. Cupitmasha tries to bench press Tatam off him but Tatam keeps the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cupitmasha manages to work his way to half guard, despite Tatam's best efforts. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Tatam slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Tatam passes Cupitmasha's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Cupitmasha is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Tatam takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Cupitmasha is trying to get back to full guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Tatam in particular looking to stall.

And that's the end of the fight! Tom Tatam comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Tatam has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
