Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Dirk Anderson and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yates gets the takedown into side control.
Pies is looking to reverse the position.
A lull in the action here.
Pies trying to control but Yates flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!
Pies is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Yates.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Let's hope that Yates has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
It looks like Yates might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Pies controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
Pies is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Aaron Yates hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Pies looks for the body kick but Yates saw that one coming.
Yates swings for the body but Pies moves out of range.
Yates rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pies moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Pies bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Yates scores with a three punch combo!
It looks like Andrzej Pies has been cut.
Yates avoids the head kick by Pies.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pies lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Pies misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Yates misses with a wild combination.
Pies tries a head kick but it misses.
Yates scores with a takedown into Pies's guard.
Yates sitting in guard here, content to control.
Yates is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Pies has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Yates is looking to defend but Pies has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Yates! Pies pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Yates taps out and this one is all over!
