The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Praegitzer drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Praegitzer tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Penn tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

The referee stands the fighters back up. BJ Penn just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Praegitzer avoids the body shot from Penn.
Praegitzer slips a jab from Penn.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Penn dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Praegitzer. That did some damage!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Penn swings for the body but Praegitzer moves out of range.
Praegitzer closes the distance and clinches up with Penn, looking for a takedown. Praegitzer pushes Penn against the cage but Penn circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Praegitzer throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Penn's waist but Penn gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Praegitzer off to one side.
A jab from Penn does it's job there.
Penn pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Josh Praegitzer is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Penn looks to score with a jab to the body but Praegitzer is just out of range.

Praegitzer showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Penn.
BJ Penn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Praegitzer is breathing heavily.
Penn lands a nice looking body shot.
Praegitzer takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Penn stuns Praegitzer with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Penn fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Praegitzer manages to avoid it.
Penn looks to land a body kick but Praegitzer moved away.

Penn swings for the body but Praegitzer moves out of range.
Penn lands a with a good body shot.
Penn looks to score with a jab to the body but Praegitzer is just out of range.
Penn throws a series of punches but Praegitzer avoids them all with ease.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Penn lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Praegitzer has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Praegitzer and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Penn lands a nice hook to Praegitzer's body. Praegitzer takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Penn is looking to wear down Praegitzer with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Penn swinging wilding here.
Penn will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Praegitzer slips under a jab.
Praegitzer stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Penn.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Praegitzer steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Penn.
Praegitzer slips a jab and a cross from Penn.
Penn throws a low kick, looking for Praegitzer's leg but Praegitzer calmly moves out of range.
Penn throws a leg kick that misses.
Penn jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.


It looks like Josh Praegitzer has been cut.
A big head kick from Penn and Praegitzer is sent sprawling to the canvas!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Praegitzer wants to sweep here but Penn controlling him for the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

BJ Penn dominated that second round.
The cut man is working on Josh Praegitzer's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Praegitzer has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Penn finds it's way round the side to connect with Praegitzer's head.

Praegitzer is holding his hands too far apart here. Penn throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Praegitzer is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). BJ Penn!
