Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Adam Giles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jordan Crichton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Adam Giles! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jordan Crichton! The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Glass and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Giles dives in and grabs Crichton's left leg, looking for a takedown. Crichton pushes down on Giles's head and hops out. Crichton shoots in looking for a takedown but Giles manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Crichton's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Crichton keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Crichton closes the distance and clinches up with Giles, looking for a takedown. Crichton pushes Giles against the cage but Giles circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Giles circles away from the clinch attempt.
Crichton darts in looking for a takedown but Giles gets double underhooks and turns Crichton into the cage. Adam Giles has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jordan Crichton. Crichton is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Giles wants to stall.
Crichton pulls guard successfully.
Giles is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Crichton working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Giles doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Giles manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Giles stays in close to Crichton's body and controls the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crichton is trying to control the position but Giles postures up. Giles is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Adam Giles has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Crichton shoots in for a takedown but Giles shows good takedown defense. Crichton gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Giles counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Crichton is lucky that one didn't land flush. Giles fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Giles dives in for a single leg takedown but Crichton sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Giles tries to break free but Crichton pushes him back against the cage. Crichton tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Giles stalling in the clinch but Crichton improves position. Giles's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Crichton clinches up against the cage. Giles lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Crichton or not. Giles breaks from the clinch.
Crichton tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Giles manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Crichton dives in for a single leg takedown but Giles sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Giles breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Giles shoots in looking for a takedown but Crichton manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Giles's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crichton wants to clinch and Giles counters with a nice double leg into guard. Giles might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Giles seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Crichton wants to stand but Giles is controlling the position. Crichton is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Giles wants to control from the top but Crichton keeps moving. Giles sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Adam Giles wasn't doing enough on the ground. Crichton throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Crichton throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Giles's waist but Giles gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Crichton off to one side. Giles avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Crichton shoots for a takedown but Giles saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Crichton looks winded! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Giles looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Crichton is fending him off so far but Giles persists. Nope, Crichton circles away and we're back to standing. Jordan Crichton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Crichton misses with a takedown attempt and Giles counters by moving into the clinch. Giles trying to control the position but instead, Crichton has worked for underhooks and has pushed Giles into the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Adam Giles dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Crichton shoots in looking for a takedown but Giles manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Crichton's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Nice sprawl there from Giles as Crichton shoots in. Crichton fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Giles avoids it really well and circles away. Adam Giles has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jordan Crichton. Crichton will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's one minute gone in the round. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Giles is defended easily by Crichton. Giles defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Crichton. Crichton shoots in looking for a takedown. Giles tries to sprawl out of it but Crichton keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Giles manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Crichton is breathing heavily. Crichton keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Nice sprawl there from Crichton as Giles shoots in.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A shot to the liver by Crichton. Beautiful body shot. Crichton shoots in looking for a takedown. Giles tries to sprawl out of it but Crichton keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Giles manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Giles shoots in for a double leg but Crichton sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Nice takedown defense from Crichton. No joy for Giles on that attempt. Crichton tries for a takedown but Giles circles away easily and Giles counters with a takedown into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crichton is trying to control Giles's posture but Giles avoids it. Giles is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Crichton knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Giles happy to just control the position for now. Giles tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Giles has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Crichton tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Giles trying to control the action but Crichton is working from the bottom. You can see the frustration on Crichton's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Crichton is looking to reverse the position. The referee asks Giles politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Giles prefers to stall for the moment though. Crichton can't do much from the bottom here. Crichton is letting Giles control him for a moment. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Crichton ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Giles stuffs the takedown. Jordan Crichton seems to be getting the better of the standup. Nice sprawl there from Crichton as Giles shoots in. Crichton with a poor takedown and Giles counters with a good, hard body kick but Crichton shrugs it off. Giles avoids the head kick by Crichton.
Giles has a takedown stuffed. Giles shoots in and bounces Crichton off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Crichton takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Giles with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Crichton is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Giles got a little sloppy there for a moment and Crichton has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Giles has managed to get both his arms back between Crichton's legs - danger averted. Giles trying to control but Crichton is working from the bottom. Crichton can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Giles controls the pace. Crichton keeping moving, preventing Giles from controlling successfully.

We're going to have a standup here because Adam Giles wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Giles shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Crichton defends it nicely. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adam Giles. That's going to take a lot out of him. No luck for Giles with that takedown attempt. Crichton shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. No luck with that takedown attempt from Giles. Crichton slaps away a takedown attempt from Giles, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crichton throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Giles on the side of the head. Crichton throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Giles's waist but Giles gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Crichton off to one side. Crichton clinches up against the cage. Crichton tries to pull guard but Giles won't allow it.
Crichton tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Giles avoids it. Crichton tries to break the clinch but Giles is controlling the position. The referee calls for Giles to work.
Giles scores with a hook to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Giles breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Crichton closes this distance looking for a takedown but Giles circles away. Crichton moves into the clinch. Crichton is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Giles gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Giles breaks from the clinch.
Giles shoots in but no luck this time. Giles takes a jab right on the kisser.
Crichton throws a right and a left that Giles avoids nicely. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Giles looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Jordan Crichton has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Adam Giles is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Crichton lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Giles at a distance.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Adam Giles. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Giles, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
