The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Connor lunges at Romero with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Romero's hand.
Romero closes the distance and clinches.
Romero breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Connor misses the shot to the body.

Romero has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Connor has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Bruize Brothers in the buildup to the fight.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Romero lands with a big left! Connor is wobbled badly! Romero comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Connor to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
