PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simon Junk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bam Ulysses (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Bam Ulysses was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Ulysses feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Junk has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Ulysses bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Junk's guard.

Ulysses drops back looking for a leg! Junk is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Junk manages to kick Ulysses off! Ulysses jumps back into Junk's guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Ulysses drops back, looking for a kneebar! Junk looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Junk looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Junk!

I would just about give that final round to Bam Ulysses.
