Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Wade Dew!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rane Kingi!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Viktor Lagutenko and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dew moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Dew moves out of range of the strikes.

Dew rushes Kingi and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Dew throws a combination. Kingi tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Good leg kick by Kingi there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Dew throws a shot from downtown. Kingi moves away and avoids it.
Kingi goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
A nice inside leg kick there by Kingi. That's going to slow Dew down.
Dew tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

and Kingi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dew throws an overhand right that lands on Kingi's shoulder, as Kingi tries to avoid the shot.

Kingi connects with a leg kick. Dew looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kingi throws a punch but it's blocked by Dew.
Kingi lands a right hand that snaps the head of Dew backwards.

Kingi has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Kingi tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Dew tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Dew blocking some punches.

Nice body punch from Kingi - that landed with a thud.
Dew tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Kingi avoids it.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Kingi. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Dew shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Dew swings for the body but Kingi moves out of range.
Kingi walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Dew checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Kingi connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Dew momentarily.

Dew clinches up with Kingi and pushes him back against the cage.

Kingi is trying to force a seperation but Dew has the dominant position.

Dew landing some nice looking knees to the body.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Dew.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

That was a close second round but I would say that Wade Dew will probably get the nod.

Kingi throws a hook to the side of Dew's head but Dew sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kingi throws a solid leg kick but Dew takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Kingi.

enabling Kingi to counter with a crisp jab.

Dew fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kingi looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Kingi is still on wobbly legs! Can Dew finish him?

Kingi seems to have recovered his senses.
Dew takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Rane Kingi.
I think Kingi has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
