Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Bart Greer and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aussie closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Aussie blocking some punches.
Aussie gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Aussie missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Aussie has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Aussie is looking to stand up but Volkov won't let him.
Volkov looking for a guillotine here but Aussie defends easily.
Volkov is looking for a triangle here but Aussie uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Volkov is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Aussie wants to take a breather but Volkov is having none of it.
Volkov works his way to full guard. Good work.

Aussie stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Volkov swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Volkov seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Volkov had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Aussie defends it easily.
Aussie looking to sit in guard and control but Volkov gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Aussie is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Volkov is aware though and is defending well.
Aussie keeping moving, preventing Volkov from controlling successfully.

Aussie looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Aussie can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Volkov controls the pace.
Aussie working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Volkov.
Aussie not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Aussie wants to sweep here but Volkov controlling him for the moment.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Aussie looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Volkov has picked Aussie up and slammed him! Aussie can't keep hold of the triangle and Volkov manages to pass to side control!
Volkov cracks Aussie with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Aussie trying his best to control but Volkov has mounted him.
Volkov working for a guillotine from mount but Aussie is in no mood to give up.

Volkov in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
It looks like Aussie Aussie has been cut.
Aussie in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Volkov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
