The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saarrinen looks to clinch
and Rosales counters with a shoot takedown. Saarrinen fights it but they end up in guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Rosales's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Saarrinen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Rosales counters by clinching up.
Saarrinen tries to break the clinch but Rosales is controlling the position.
Rosales goes for a takedown attempt but Saarrinen pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

and Rosales counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Saarrinen!
Rosales scores with punches from side control.
Saarrinen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rosales. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Rosales is working Saarrinen over with some ground and pound from side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rosales is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Saarrinen is trying to escape and Rosales transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Saarrinen is forced to tap! Nice work there by Rosales! Very nice indeed!
