Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stuart Bray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Sinclare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stuart Bray could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Michael Sinclare's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Stuart Bray!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Michael Sinclare!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Winston Alpacca and Sandra Marshall.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bray shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Bray is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Sinclare has managed to free his arm - good work.
Sinclare is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Sinclare is not content to let Bray control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bray throwing shots but Sinclare is blocking nicely.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Stuart Bray just wasn't active enough.

Bray clinches up with Sinclare and pushes him back against the cage.

Bray has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Sinclare uses from the top position.
Bray knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sinclare on the ground.
Sinclare wants to control from the top but Bray keeps moving.
Sinclare postures up.
Bray wants to sweep here but Sinclare controlling him for the moment.

Sinclare stands and steps away. Bray gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Bray closes the distance and clinches.

Bray's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Sinclare misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Bray decides to pull guard.
Sinclare engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Bray blocking the ground and pound attempt from Sinclare.

Sinclare stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Bray to get to his feet.
Sinclare throws a hook to the side of Bray's head but Bray sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

and Bray decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Sinclare's guard.
Sinclare wants to sweep here but Bray controlling him for the moment.
Sinclare wants to get back to his feet but Bray is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Bray trying to control but Sinclare is working from the bottom.
Sinclare is controlling Bray's posture.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Stuart Bray.

Bray forces Sinclare back against the cage and clinches.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Bray breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bray thows a body shot but no joy.
Sinclare wants to clinch up but Bray keeps it at a distance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stuart Bray dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Bray shoots in and drives through. Sinclare sprawls well.
Bray fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Bray decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Sinclare tries to kick Bray off but Bray keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Sinclare is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Sinclare has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bray can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Sinclare bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bray's guard.
Sinclare working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Sinclare trying to control the position from guard on top but Bray is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bray controls Sinclare momentarily but Sinclare frees himself.
Sinclare sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bray's guard.
Sinclare is controlling the pace.
Bray throws a strike from the bottom but Sinclare passes into side control!

Sinclare controls the position from side control.
Bray is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Sinclare is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Sinclare working for a submission but Bray is keeping him at bay.

Sinclare get's back to his feet.
Sinclare misses with a takedown attempt - Bray sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Sinclare tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bray swivels and escapes.
Bray throws a right hand that Sinclare ducks under and follows up with a left that Sinclare also avoids with ease.
Sinclare fails to land the takedown.
Stuart Bray has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Sinclare.
Bray looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Bray gets in close and instigates a clinch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Bray.
Sinclare tries to pull guard but Bray won't allow it.
Sinclare wants a takedown but no success here.
Sinclare tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bray smiles and moves away.

Bray has closed the distance and engaged Sinclare in a clinch.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Bray has Sinclare pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Bray pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Sinclare tumbling to the mat - Bray dives into Sinclare's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sinclare has his hands on Bray's head, controlling the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Michael Sinclare showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Sinclare drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Bray manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Sinclare has Bray in his guard.

Sinclare is trying to keep Bray in close.
Bray stops Sinclare from standing up.
Sinclare bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bray's guard.

Sinclare slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Bray is looking to stand back up but Sinclare counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Bray.

Bray wants to control but Sinclare is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Sinclare takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Sinclare throws a body punch but Bray moves out of range.

Sinclare looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bray is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Bray wants to get back to his feet.

Sinclare wants to free his trapped foot but Bray is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Bray is looking to escape.

Sinclare is looking for a kimura but Bray is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Sinclare to get the leverage.
Bray has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sinclare is working away from the top position though.

Sinclare is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Bray is trying to control but can't.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Sinclare is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Bray wants to hold on but Sinclare pushes him away.

Michael Sinclare comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Sinclare has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
