Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Marco Palestri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Frost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Marco Palestri! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jeff Frost! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Dirk Anderson and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Frost clinches. Palestri is trying to break the clinch but Frost has him pressed against the cage. Frost prevents Palestri from breaking the clinch. Frost breaks the clinch.
Palestri fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Frost shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Palestri as he avoids it easily. Frost doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Palestri swats away the attempt to clinch by Frost. Frost dives in and grabs Palestri's left leg, looking for a takedown. Palestri pushes down on Frost's head and hops out. Palestri misses with a jab, cross combination.
Frost tries for a takedown but Palestri sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Marco Palestri has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeff Frost. Frost clinches up against the cage. Palestri tries to break the clinch but Frost is controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Palestri has Frost pressed against the cage, preventing Frost from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Frost escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Frost fails with a takedown attempt. Palestri throws a nice looking combination but Frost bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Frost fails with a takedown attempt. Palestri misses with a combination
so Frost counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Frost postures up and lands a big shot to Palestri's brow. Frost passes Palestri's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Palestri is looking to escape. Frost takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Palestri is in trouble now - Frost has advanced to mount! Frost connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Palestri is trying to stand but he's just given Frost his back. Frost scores with punches to the body. Palestri holding both Frost 's hands and preventing any damage. Palestri is breathing heavily. Frost is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Palestri won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Frost off his unconscious opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jeff Frost!
