Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cletus Hahn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cain Velasquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Velasquez comes into a darkened arena with his song building. In The End-Linkin Park kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Cain Velasquez! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Velasquez forces Hahn back against the cage and clinches. Velasquez throws a knee to the head but misses.
Velasquez is looking to break free of the clinch but Hahn has double underhooks. Velasquez escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hahn throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Velasquez closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Hahn has clasped his hands together around Velasquez's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. You can see the frustration on Velasquez's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Hahn is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Velasquez knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Hahn working away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Velasquez is looking to regain half guard here but Hahn keeps moving and retains side control.

Velasquez lands a nice knee to the body. Hahn is breathing heavily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A knee to the head by Velasquez.

Hahn is rocked! Velasquez jerks Hahn's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Hahn drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Velasquez goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Velasquez because Hahn was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). Cain Velasquez! Cain Velasquez tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
