Velasquez comes into a darkened arena with his song building. In The End-Linkin Park kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velasquez forces Hahn back against the cage and clinches.

Hahn has clasped his hands together around Velasquez's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

You can see the frustration on Velasquez's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Velasquez jerks Hahn's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Hahn drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Velasquez goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Velasquez because Hahn was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.

Cain Velasquez tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
