Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Foster Nolan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones has chosen It's my Life-Bon Jovi as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Foster Nolan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jon Jones! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Ren Mimura and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones shoots for a takedown but Nolan saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Jones is looking to clinch but Nolan is avoiding it.
Nolan moves into the clinch. Nolan can't break the clinch.
Nolan tightens his grip and picks Jones up, before dumping him to the ground. Jones manages to land in guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Nolan sitting in guard, not really doing much.
We're going to have a standup here because Foster Nolan wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Jones throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Nolan.

Nolan ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Nolan no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Jones postures up.
Nolan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Nolan is trying to stand up here but Jones is controlling him well. Nolan regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Jones. Jones won't allow Nolan to sweep him here. Nolan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Jones throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Nolan works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Jones postures up in Nolan's guard and throws a big left but Nolan blocks it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Nolan's head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nolan has his foot on Jones's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jones works his way back into a safe position though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nolan is breathing heavily. Jones postures up in Nolan's guard and throws a big left but Nolan blocks it. Nolan tries to land a sweep but no joy. Jones throws an elbow that misses. Nolan uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Jones's guard. Nice move by Nolan! Nolan wants to stand and escape but instead Jones has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Jones missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. That was a close round but I would say that Foster Nolan will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Jones tries to bum rush Nolan with a series of wild strikes but Nolan uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Jones shoots in for a takedown but Nolan shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Nolan fails with an attempt to clinch.

Nolan turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A lull in the action here as Nolan stalls from top position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nolan's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Nolan creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Nolan stands up. Jon Jones is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Nolan slaps away a takedown attempt from Jones, before circling back to the center of the mat. Foster Nolan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Jones. Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nolan paws at him with a jab and circles away. Jones circles away from the clinch attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Foster Nolan dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Foster Nolan's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Nolan turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Nolan manages to end up in side control. Nolan moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Jones tries to improve position but can't.

Foster Nolan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Check out the look on Nolan's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Nolan cracks Jones with a big elbow. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Nolan decides to stand back up. Sloppy strikes from Jones. Those never looked like landing.

Nolan is rocked! Jones takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nolan manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Oh Nolan is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Jones regains half guard. Jones punching from the bottom.
Nolan looks to land a strike but Jones avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Nolan wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving. Jones avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Nolan controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Nolan seems to have got his legs back now.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Foster Nolan. Jones avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Foster Nolan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nolan struggles to land a body shot inside as Jones controls his hands.

It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Nolan wants it to stay on the feet.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Foster Nolan. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Nolan, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
