The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coffey lands with a slapping head kick.
It looks like Axel Sanchez has been cut.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Coffey goes for a takedown attempt but Sanchez pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Sanchez. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Sanchez is trying to trip Coffey. He has hold of a leg but Coffey is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Sanchez persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
