Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between William Carr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Altair Silvar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, William Carr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Altair Silvar!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Paulo Santos and Seu Braga.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carr fails in his attempt to clinch.

Silvar instigates a clinch.
Carr keeps control of Silvar as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Carr is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Carr wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Silvar wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Carr has him pressed against the cage.

Carr escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Carr closes the distance and clinches up with Silvar, looking for a takedown. Carr pushes Silvar against the cage but Silvar circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Carr takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.


It looks like William Carr has been cut.
Silvar shoots for a takedown but Carr saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Carr tries to close the distance and clinch but Silvar swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Silvar misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Silvar shoots in for a double leg but Carr sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Carr scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Silvar fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Carr looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Carr misses with a takedown attempt - Silvar sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Silvar swats away the attempt to clinch by Carr.
Carr has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.


Carr is rocked!
Carr shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Silvar as he avoids it easily.
Oh Carr is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for William Carr. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Silvar closes the distance and clinches up with Carr, looking for a takedown. Silvar pushes Carr against the cage but Carr circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Silvar fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Silvar steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Carr is out on his feet! Silvar sets himself and nearly takes Carr's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Altair Silvar!
