Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marco Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerry Stein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marco Moore! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jerry Stein! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Jonathan Paton and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stein looks for the body kick but Moore saw that one coming. Moore is looking to clinch but Stein is avoiding it.
Stein gets a takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stein is looking to stall here but Moore recovers full guard. Stein wants to pass the guard but Moore is keeping the position. Stein wants to stand but Moore has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stein stopping the sweep attempt from Moore. Stein trying to control but Moore is working from the bottom. Moore knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Stein on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jerry Stein wasn't active enough on the ground. Stein closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Moore to the mat! Moore manages to get full guard. Stein is looking to advance position but Moore has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Moore goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Stein is on top in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stein throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Moore works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Stein would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moore is trying to control the position but Stein postures up. Stein controlling from the top position. Moore keeping moving, preventing Stein from controlling successfully. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Marco Moore just wasn't active enough. Stein has Moore up against the cage in a clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stein has Moore pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Stein pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Moore tumbling to the mat - Stein dives into Moore's guard. Moore has an active guard here but Stein has managed to pass into half guard.
Stein wants to free his trapped foot but Moore is holding on for dear life with his legs. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jerry Stein dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Stein instigates a clinch. Moore really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Stein turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Stein goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Moore has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Stein but great work by Moore. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Stein. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Stein is looking to regain half guard here but Moore keeps moving and retains side control. Stein gets back to half guard. Stein looks like he's trying to stand up.
Moore prevents Stein from improving his position. Moore is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Stein defends it well. Jerry Stein has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moore seems to be working for a kimura but Stein defends the submission attempt. Stein moves into full guard.
Moore has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Stein is proving hard to escape from. Stein is trying to control the position but Moore postures up. Stein lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Moore! Moore is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stein controlling from mount. Stein breaks from Moore's wrist control and lands an elbow. Moore keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stein looking to control but Moore is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Stein tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Stein wants to control the pace but Moore is squirming around nicely. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stein connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Stein tries to control but Moore wriggling away. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Jerry Stein has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Stein wants to clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jerry Stein showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Stein drives through with a takedown into Moore's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Stein wants to control from the top but Moore keeps moving. Stein works a leg free and moves into half guard. Stein controlling the pace. Stein missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stein looks to land a strike but Moore avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Stein is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jerry Stein. Moore gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Moore preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Stein trying to control but Moore is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stein wants to get up but he can't break Moore's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Stein wants to control from the top but Moore keeps moving.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jerry Stein wasn't active enough on the ground. Stein dives in and scores a takedown into Moore's guard. Moore keeping full guard, as Stein tries to pass. Stein trying to control but Moore is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Stein wants to stand but Moore is controlling his posture from full guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Jerry Stein was stalling too much, according to the referee. Stein manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Moore on his heels. He'll look to pass Moore's guard now, I'm sure. Stein takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Stein trying to control but Moore is working from the bottom. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Stein would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stein looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Jerry Stein was stalling too much, according to the referee. Stein closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Marco Moore has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jerry Stein is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Moore being controlled for a moment.
And that's the end of the fight! Jerry Stein comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Stein has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
