The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Myers will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Myers pivots, looking for a leg kick but James is out of range and Myers settles back down.
Myers misses with a body kick.
Myers misses with a hook.
Myers misses with a straight left.

Myers lands a left and a right that sends James crashing to the canvas! Myers dives into mount looking to finish!

It looks like Jimmy James has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
James slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
James is staying active underneath Myers, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
James slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
James is trying to control the position but Myers postures up.
Myers tries to free his leg and advance position but James is retaining full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
James thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Myers got a little sloppy there for a moment and James has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Myers has managed to get both his arms back between James's legs - danger averted.

James had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Myers defends it easily.

James has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Myers should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, James has tightened it up now! Myers should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
