Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Columbo Gatti and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guerrero moves in looking to clinch but Daniels pushes him off.
No luck for Daniels with that takedown attempt.
Daniels has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Guerrero .
Vinny Guerrero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Guerrero looks for a takedown but Daniels sprawls well.
Guerrero tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Daniels paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Guerrero changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Daniels tries to avoid it but Guerrero manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Daniels to the ground. Daniels escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Daniels really is a fat lump.
Horrible takedown by Guerrero or perhaps it was just good defense by Daniels which made him look bad.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Guerrero stands up and beckons Daniels to join him on the feet.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Guerrero .

and Daniels counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Guerrero !

Daniels is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Guerrero is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

That was a close second round but I would say that Connie Daniels will probably get the nod.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Daniels takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Guerrero pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Guerrero doesn't manage to clinch there - Daniels circles away.
Guerrero looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Daniels is fending him off so far but Guerrero persists. Nope, Daniels circles away and we're back to standing.

and Daniels moves into the clinch.
Guerrero takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Daniels keeps control of Guerrero as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Daniels, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
