Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shelton Dennis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Riastlan Clark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shelton Dennis has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shelton Dennis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Riastlan Clark! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dennis gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Dennis can't keep his opponent in guard - Clark advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Dennis is trying to control but can't.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Clark lands a nice short elbow. Dennis tries to get to full guard but Clark has control of the leg. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dennis is looking to control Clark's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Dennis avoid being mounted? Dennis could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Clark tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Dennis. Clark is figuring out what he wants to do next.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clark is thwarting Dennis's attempts to control the position. Clark is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Clark wants to take a breather but Dennis is having none of it. Clark controlling the action here.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Clark shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Clark seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Clark perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Dennis might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Clark wants to stand but Dennis has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Dennis on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Clark is figuring out what he wants to do next. Dennis trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dennis is wriggling around trying to escape.
Dennis is working hard here to advance position. Clark controlling his opponent. Clark is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Dennis has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Clark tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dennis tries to hold on but Clark pushes him away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Clark controlling the position easily from mount. Clark working Dennis over with strikes here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Riastlan Clark dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
The fight moves into the clinch position. Clark tries to land a knee to the head but Dennis blocks with his arms.
Clark has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Dennis uses from the top position. Clark pulls Dennis in close to his closed guard and prevents Dennis from doing any damage or advancing position. Clark is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Dennis trying to control but Clark is working from the bottom. Dennis with a flurry of punches that miss. Dennis trying to control the position from guard on top but Clark is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Clark darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clark with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Clark seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Clark is thwarting Dennis's attempts to control the position. Clark is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Dennis is just riding it out for now. Clark eventually gives up the hold. Clark wants to pass the guard but Dennis is defending well. Dennis is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dennis trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Clark manages to pass to mount!
Dennis wants to hold on but Clark pushes him away. Dennis can't escape the position.
Riastlan Clark has got the better of the ground game so far. Clark is looking to stand but Clark has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
Dennis wants to control but Clark is having none of it. Dennis keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Dennis tries to hold on but Clark postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Clark controlling the position easily from mount. Dennis is in all sorts of trouble here.
Clark lands a couple of good shots and Dennis has given up his back, trying to escape the position! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Riastlan Clark showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Clark tries to land a front kick but Dennis steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Clark gets a clinch. Clark is looking to break free of the clinch but Dennis has double underhooks. Dennis tries a knee to the head but Clark blocks it.
Dennis breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Clark. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Nice sprawl there from Dennis as Clark shoots in. Shelton Dennis is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Dennis shoots in but Clark avoids the takedown attempt easily. Clark shoots in and gets a takedown into Dennis's guard. Clark slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dennis lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Clark! Clark is trying desperately to improve position. Clark is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Dennis can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Clark is looking to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Clark is wriggling around trying to escape.
Clark is squirming around, avoiding Dennis's attempts to control the action. Clark bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Clark is stalling in the full guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Shelton Dennis wasn't doing enough on the ground. Clark fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Dennis checks it well. Dennis checks the leg kick nicely there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Clark changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dennis looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Clark wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dennis, who protects the arm well. Clark takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Clark cracks Dennis with a big elbow. Dennis prevents Clark from improving position. Clark is chipping away with strikes.
Clark tries to stand but Dennis is controlling his head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Clark postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
You can see the frustration on Dennis's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Clark connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Dennis some visible discomfort.
Clark passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Dennis! This has been an exciting period of action! Dennis is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Clark controlling from the full mount. Shelton Dennis has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Riastlan Clark is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Dennis throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
And that's the end of the fight! Riastlan Clark comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Clark has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
