Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by replay. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from White. No joy for Jones on that attempt.
White leaves Jones with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Jones shoots in looking for a takedown. White tries to sprawl out of it but Jones keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. White manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

White looks to land a combination. Jones sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

White throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Jones.

White fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jones, pushing him back against the cage.

White connects with a solid leg kick.
White throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jones's waist but Jones gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing White off to one side.

White stalks Jones and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Jones's face. Jones staggers backwards, shaken.

Jones tries to score a power double leg takedown but White sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jones somewhat.

White throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jones has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
White defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jones.
White dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Jones. That did some damage!
White goes for a double leg but Jones avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Jones continues to drive forward.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to John Jones.
