Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bad Ben (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cain Velasquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Velasquez's choice of entrance music: It's My Life-Bon Jovi. Cain Velasquez has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velasquez throws a jab but it's blocked by Ben.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Ben.
Velasquez shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ben as he avoids it easily.
Velasquez shoots in and drives through. Ben sprawls well.
Horrible takedown by Velasquez or perhaps it was just good defense by Ben which made him look bad.
Bad Ben has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cain Velasquez.

Ben is pressed up against the cage. Velasquez has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Ben down to the mat. Ben avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Velasquez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ben tries to avoid it but Velasquez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ben to the ground. Ben escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
