PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cain Bunga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hector Freole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Cain Bunga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hector Freole!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Taro Takaoka and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bunga is looking to clinch but Freole is avoiding it.
Bunga definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Freole shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Freole goes for a double leg but Bunga avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bunga continues to drive forward.
Bunga tries a knee to the head but Freole blocks it.

Freole pulls guard successfully.

Freole pushes Bunga off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Freole has a takedown stuffed.
Cain Bunga has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hector Freole.
Bunga tries to clinch up but Freole circles away and keeps his distance.
Freole tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bunga swivels and escapes.
Freole looks winded!
Bunga doesn't manage to clinch there - Freole circles away.
Bunga is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Horrible takedown by Freole or perhaps it was just good defense by Bunga which made him look bad.
Freole changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bunga tries to avoid it but Freole manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bunga to the ground. Bunga escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Freole is defended easily by Bunga.
Bunga goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Freole circles away from the clinch attempt.

Freole shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bunga defends it nicely.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Bunga! Freole is out on his feet! Bunga rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Freole is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Freole is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
