The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leaseau keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Kamia bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Leaseau wants to control but Kamia postures up.
Leaseau sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Leaseau slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Kamia pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Leaseau is keeping the position for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Leaseau looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kamia is one step ahead there.
Kamia stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Leaseau swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Leaseau looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Leaseau wants to sweep but no luck.
Kamia would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Kamia stands and throws Leaseau's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Kamia tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
