Hawthorne sends Rivera crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Hawthorne is motioning to the referee to let Rivera up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

It looks like Marco Rivera has been cut.
Rivera looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rivera drops his hands for a split second and Hawthorne immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Rivera face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Hawthorne follows up with a right hand that knocks Rivera into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
