Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Aj Fernandez!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernandez misses with a few strikes there.
Some wild striking there from Fernandez.
Fernandez throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hanamichi.
Hanamichi fails with the takedown.
Hanamichi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fernandez tries to avoid it but Hanamichi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fernandez to the ground. Fernandez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Hanamichi shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Fernandez as he avoids it easily.

Fernandez tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Hanamichi cranks the arm and Fernandez screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Fernandez, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
