Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dwight Elkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Calgary Alberta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Elkins comes to the cage accompanied by Care Bear Countdown. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

33 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dwight Elkins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Calgary Alberta! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Robert Douchet and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Elkins doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Alberta moves to clinch but Elkins breaks away and Elkins counters with a thumping low kick. Alberta moves to clinch but Elkins breaks away and Elkins connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Calgary Alberta has been cut. Alberta tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Elkins manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Alberta tries to clinch but Elkins is having none of it. Elkins lands a leg kick. Elkins avoids a lazy jab quite easily. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Alberta clinches up with Elkins and pushes him back against the cage. A head punch blocked on the inside by Elkins. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Dwight Elkins will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Elkins gets tackled into the cage by Alberta. Alberta maintains the clinch. Elkins gets underhooks to prevent Alberta's takedown attempt.

Elkins takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Elkins throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Alberta says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Elkins will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

That has opened up Calgary Alberta's cut even more. A bone on bone clash there as Alberta blocks the leg kick.

Alberta is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent. Alberta is looking to take this fight into the clinch. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Elkins cracks the inside of Alberta's front leg. Elkins tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Alberta is able to avoid easily. Elkins throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Alberta connects with a body shot that sends Elkins's belly button to the back. Alberta tries to clinch and Elkins counters with a head kick. That will keep Alberta thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
The cut above Calgary Alberta's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Elkins is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Elkins throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

It looks like Elkins has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him. Elkins misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
And that's the end of the fight! Dwight Elkins showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Elkins, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
