Couture comes into the arena with Mama said knock you out blaring out of the sound system. Hollyfield has chosen Paris as his entrance music. Tyson Hollyfield has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hollyfield is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Couture.
Couture tries to clinch there but Hollyfield circles away.
Hollyfield staying out of range there.

Hollyfield fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Couture, pushing him back against the cage.
A nice right hand lands inside from Couture.
Couture dodges an elbow strike from Hollyfield.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Hollyfield lands a knee to the head.
Hollyfield lands a damaging elbow.
With the fighters up against the cage, Hollyfield throws an elbow but misses.
Hollyfield throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Hollyfield trying to stall but Couture improves his position.

Couture is trying to drag Hollyfield to the mat but Hollyfield just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Hollyfield unloads a knee to the mid-section.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Couture pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Couture thows a leg kick but Hollyfield checks it
and Hollyfield counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Hollyfield tries to clinch but Couture moves away
and Couture counters with a nice low kick that buckles Hollyfield's knee momentarily.

The fight stays on the outside here - Couture looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Hollyfield stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hollyfield wants it to stay on the feet.
Hollyfield swats away the attempt to clinch by Couture.

and Couture counters with a crisp one two that drops Hollyfield! Couture thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Hollyfield to his feet! Hollyfield is in big trouble!

Hollyfield is rocked!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Couture avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hollyfield bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Couture feints with a jab and clips Hollyfield right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Hollyfield is sent crashing into the canvas and Couture leaps in for the kill! Hollyfield tries to get to his feet but Couture is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Hollyfield is in need of a savior and steps in!
