Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

With a record of 21 - 9 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marshall Noir!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Steven Brown and James Ackerman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Noir steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from James. That one must have hurt.
James misses the jab.
James scores with a nice body kick.
James looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
James scores with a head kick. Noir tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
The fight stays on the outside here - James looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Noir counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

James manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
James wants to get back to his feet but Noir is holding on tight.
Noir is in all sorts of trouble here.
Noir slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Noir is looking for a sweep. James is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

James is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Noir tries to get to full guard but James has control of the leg.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Noir is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. James is aware though and is defending well.
Our spies down at at Ryōzanpaku Dojo inform us that Noir has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
Noir controls James momentarily but James frees himself.
James would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Noir lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for James!
