The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Santiago Holmes and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zgola drives through with a takedown into guard.
Tabram is trying to keep Zgola in close.
Tabram can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Zgola controls the pace.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tabram working for a triangle but Zgola defends it easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tabram had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Zgola defends it easily.
Tabram is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Zgola not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Tabram controls Zgola momentarily but Zgola frees himself.

We're going to have a standup here because Samuel Tabram wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Tabram has his takedown stuffed
and Zgola counters with a nice double leg into side control. Tabram won't be happy with that.
Tabram is breathing heavily.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

Zgola is putting a hurting on Tabram here, landing some big shots from side control.
Tabram is looking to regain half guard here but Zgola keeps moving and retains side control.

Zgola tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Zgola has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Tabram tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Tabram is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Zgola is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Tabram can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Oh Tabram is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Zgola lands a nice shot to the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Zgola loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Tabram scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Zgola land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Zgola stands and salutes the crowd.
