Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Randy Lowry!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lowry closes the distance and clinches.

Burns is in close to Lowry's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Lowry gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Lowry is trying to pull guard but Burns has him pressed against the cage.

Lowry goes for a double leg but Burns avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Burns continues to drive forward.

Burns pulls guard effortlessly.
Burns manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Lowry manages to get himself to full guard.
Burns stands up over Lowry, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Burns not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Burns lands a couple of elbows.
Lowry wants to stand but Burns is controlling the position.

Burns drops an elbow to the side of Lowry's head.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Lowry tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Burns presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Burns is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Lowry can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Burns has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Lowry really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Burns. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
