The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrasek throws a nice looking combination but Rosales bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Rosales blocks a head kick by Petrasek.
Rosales changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Petrasek looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Rosales is looking to take a break and control but Petrasek is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Petrasek tries to bench press Rosales off him but Rosales keeps the position.
Rosales has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Petrasek is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Rosales yanks on the arm and Petrasek is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Rosales.
