Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randall Saunders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Randall Saunders has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Russell Pearce and John Kavanagh.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perry attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
No joy there for Perry, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Perry throws a nice looking combination but Saunders bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Perry misses with a series of wild punches.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Perry rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Saunders moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Saunders throws a head kick but Perry moves out of range.
Saunders misses with a body kick.
Saunders just misses with a punch to the body.
Saunders swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Saunders thows a leg kick but Perry checks it
and Saunders takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Saunders misses with a takedown attempt - Perry sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Perry tries a head kick but it misses.
Saunders connects with a good right hand that stumbles Perry. Perry circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Perry is rocked!

It looks like Ryan Perry has been cut.
Perry punishes Saunders's body with a nice straight punch.
Oh Perry is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Saunders looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Perry is fending him off so far but Saunders persists. Nope, Perry circles away and we're back to standing.
Perry seems to have got his legs back now.
Saunders tries to clinch up
and Perry counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Saunders doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Perry counters with a series of strikes. Saunders will be more careful next time no doubt.
Ryan Perry has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Randall Saunders.
Perry is breathing heavily.
Perry misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Perry throws a head kick that misses.
Saunders misses with the body kick
and Perry counters with a nice leg kick.
Saunders loads up on a big right hand but Perry slips the punch.
Perry tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Saunders will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Saunders closes this distance looking for a takedown but Perry circles away.
Perry throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Perry keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

and Saunders counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Saunders.
Saunders wants to control from the top but Perry keeps moving.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Saunders accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Saundersis looking to pass into half guard but Perry pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Perry is in guard.
Saunders has a closed guard, preventing Perry from standing up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Saunders is trying to keep Perry in close.
Saunders tries to strike from the bottom.
Perry is looking to stand up but Saunders won't let him.

Saunders has his foot on Perry's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Perry works his way back into a safe position though.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Saunders is looking to stand up but Perry isn't so interested in that idea.

Perry is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Saunders has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Perry is looking to defend but Saunders has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Perry! Saunders pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Perry taps out and this one is all over!
