Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ryan Stone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Davy Jones Junior!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Albert Achterberg and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stone shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Stone was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Jones Junior gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
We've been hearing good reports from Stone's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Jones Junior scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Stone doesn't seem bothered though.
Jones Junior lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Davy Jones Junior is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Stone gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Jones Junior.

Jones Junior steps into range and cracks Stone with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Stone flops backwards and Jones Junior dives into his guard looking to finish!

It looks like Ryan Stone has been cut.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Jones Junior slips nicely into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Davy Jones Junior dominated that round.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Stone goes for a double leg but Jones Junior avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Jones Junior continues to drive forward.
Jones Junior lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Jones Junior misses with a hook from the clinch.
Jones Junior is looking for a takedown.
Jones Junior lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Jones Junior turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Jones Junior manages to end up in side control.
Ryan Stone overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Jones Junior working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Stone tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Jones Junior wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Jones Junior is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Stone can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Stone wants to control but Jones Junior is having none of it.

Davy Jones Junior showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!


Stone takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Jones Junior lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Jones Junior creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Stone has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Jones Junior clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stone cracks Jones Junior with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Jones Junior from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.

Stone throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.
Stone doesn't have the hooks in and Jones Junior manages to turn into his guard.

Ryan Stone has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Davy Jones Junior is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
