Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Star Dust!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Wes Alvarez!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and .




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvarez stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Dust.
Alvarez with a lazy takedown attempt
and Dust counters with a stiff right hand.
Dust lands an overhand right.
Alvarez doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Dust cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Alvarez takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Dust takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.


It looks like Wes Alvarez has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Alvarez doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Dust holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Star Dust has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wes Alvarez.
Dust lands a body punch in the clinch.
Dust looking to throw knees to the head but Alvarez is blocking nicely.
Dust digs a right hand underneath Alvarez's ribcage. Alvarez let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Alvarez tries to pull guard but Dust forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Dust lands with a light punch inside.
A nice left hand lands by Dust.
Dust lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Alvarez is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dust looking to throw knees to the head but Alvarez is blocking nicely.

Knees in the clinch landing for Dust.

Dust breaks from the clinch.

Dust moves into the clinch.

Dust breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dust stalks Alvarez and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Alvarez's face. Alvarez staggers backwards, shaken.
Alvarez on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.


Alvarez is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Dust is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Alvarez flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Alvarez is out cold! Dust holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Star Dust!
Our winner, Star Dust, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
