Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dario Gonza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Szulinski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dario Gonza!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Martin Szulinski!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Santiago Holmes and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonza tries to clinch there but Szulinski circles away.
Gonza fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Gonza throws a left and a right that both miss
and Szulinski counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Gonza thinking.
Szulinski wants to clinch up but Gonza keeps it at a distance.
Gonza moves in looking to clinch but Szulinski pushes him off.
Gonza shoots in looking for a takedown but Szulinski manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Gonza's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Gonza gets control of Szulinski's arms and successfully pulls guard. Gonza will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Gonza is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Gonza seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Szulinski does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Szulinski tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Gonza shoots in looking for a takedown. Szulinski tries to sprawl out of it but Gonza keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Szulinski manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Gonza tries to close the distance and clinch up but Szulinski swats him away and circles back towards the center.

That was a close round but I would say that Dario Gonza will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Martin Szulinski showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Gonza shoots in looking for a takedown. Szulinski tries to sprawl out of it but Gonza keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Szulinski manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Gonza shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Szulinski's guard.

I would just about give that final round to Martin Szulinski.
I think Szulinski has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
