Karate Kid has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Mark Jefferson's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Albert Achterberg and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That kick from Kid tenderised Jefferson's leg. Jefferson is trying to keep his angry face on.
Kid lunges at Jefferson with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Jefferson's hand.
Kid uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jefferson.
Kid slips under a jab.
A low kick from Jefferson misses
and Kid counters with a nice body kick.
Kid fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jefferson manages to avoid it.
Jefferson misses with a takedown attempt - Kid sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Kid plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Kid scores with a push kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kid keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jefferson throws a lazy body kick
and Kid counters with a straight right hand.
Kid connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Jefferson's hands.
Jefferson takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kid rushes Jefferson with punches - Jefferson moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Jefferson goes down! Kid follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Karate Kid!
As Karate Kid got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: I want to thank the Invisible Pink Unicorn!'.
