and Doneri counters with a lovely shot to the body.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Almeida enables Doneri to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Almeida manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Almeida not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Doneri pushes down on Almeida's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Almeida tries to kick Doneri off but Doneri keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Doneri takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Doneri has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Almeida defend it? Doneri steps over the head and cranks it - Almeida is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Doneri!
