Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Horo Ihiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tetsuya Nakashiba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nakashiba is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Moonlight Densetsu!. Tetsuya Nakashiba will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Shimada and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ihiro wants to clinch up but Nakashiba keeps it at a distance.
Ihiro fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Ihiro shoots for a takedown but Nakashiba saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Ihiro is looking for a triangle here but Nakashiba uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Nakashiba looking to break Ihiro's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Ihiro remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Nakashiba will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Nakashiba is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Ihiro is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Nakashiba wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ihiro keeps working.
Ihiro looks to move to half guard but instead Nakashiba has passed into mount! Damn!
Nakashiba connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Ihiro tries to improve his position but instead Nakashiba has taken his back!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Ihiro is covering up but some of the strikes from Nakashiba are getting through and doing damage.
Nakashiba controlling well, preventing Ihiro from escaping the position.
Nakashiba is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Ihiro knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Ihiro for a finish.
Nakashiba doesn't have the hooks in and Ihiro manages to turn into his guard.
Ihiro passes Nakashiba's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Nakashiba is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Ihiro's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Ihiro's back!

Nakashiba is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Ihiro defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
