Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryu Hyabusa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wladimir Dimitriev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Wladimir Dimitriev! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Edson Gomes and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hyabusa staying out of range there. Dimitriev misses with a jab, cross combination.
Hyabusa is looking to clinch. Hyabusa rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Dimitriev counters with a straight punch to the midsection. No joy there for Hyabusa, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hyabusa could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Hyabusa darts in trying to clinch and Dimitriev counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Wladimir Dimitriev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dimitriev throws a nice looking combination but Hyabusa bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Dimitriev fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Hyabusa is out of range. Dimitriev takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
It looks like Wladimir Dimitriev has been cut. Dimitriev throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hyabusa. Hyabusa misses with a right hand and Dimitriev moves into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hyabusa with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Hyabusa with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Hyabusa is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Dimitriev is keeping busy. Hyabusa tries a knee to the head but Dimitriev blocks it.
Dimitriev has had enough of the clinch but Hyabusa keeps him there for the moment. Hyabusa misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Dimitriev.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Dimitriev avoiding damage as Hyabusa throws knees to the body.

Dimitriev wants to get back to striking at distance but Hyabusa won't allow it.
Dimitriev breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Hyabusa misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hyabusa is breathing heavily. Hyabusa tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Hyabusa slow jab from Dimitriev misses its intended target.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Dimitriev looking to land some kicks to the body here.

Dimitriev throws out a loose jab but Hyabusa uses good head movement to avoid it. Some wild striking there from Dimitriev.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Dimitriev scores with a kick to the midsection. Dimitriev misses with a straight left. Dimitriev moves away from the strike by Hyabusa. Dimitriev throws a poor cross that misses
and Hyabusa counters with a head kick that drops Dimitriev!
Dimitriev is rocked! Hyabusa lands a couple of digs. Dimitriev is still in real trouble! Can Hyabusa finish him? Hyabusa stands up over Dimitriev, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Dimitriev keeping moving, preventing Hyabusa from controlling successfully. Hyabusa postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Hyabusa passes Dimitriev's left leg - he's now in half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Nice strikes from Hyabusa there. Hyabusa lands with a punch from half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hyabusa lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Dimitriev is in trouble now - Hyabusa has advanced to mount! Hyabusa lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

That has opened up Wladimir Dimitriev's cut even more. Hyabusa lands a nice shot to the head.
Wladimir Dimitriev's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Wladimir Dimitriev's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Ryu Hyabusa!
