Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Dennis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cody Funke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dennis kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Bark at the moon. Funke is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: never gonna stop. Jorge Dennis has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Thiago Cunha and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Dennis misses.
Funke throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Funke's coach down at Facebreaker Academy : Striking was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Funke's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Dennis darts in looking for a takedown but Funke gets double underhooks and turns Dennis into the cage.
Funke tries to land knees in the clinch but Dennis avoids the damage to the body.
Dennis is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Funke pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Funke connects with a good right hand that stumbles Dennis. Dennis circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Funke wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dennis keeps working.
