The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Luis Engracia and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Holmes makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Holmes.
Taylor has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Taylor tries to free his leg and advance position but Holmes is retaining full guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Taylor avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Taylor drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Taylor jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Holmes has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Rob's Training Center . Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Taylor wants to control from the top but Holmes keeps moving.

Oh but Holmes is tightening it up a little... Taylor has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Taylor reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Taylor taps out! Nice BJJ there by Holmes!
