Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Wolf West!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, John MacTavish!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Winston Howard and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
West moves away from the strike by MacTavish.
MacTavish does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
MacTavish misses with a hook
and West cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
West with a body punch. A glancing blow.
West on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
West closes the distance and clinches.
MacTavish wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but West has him pressed against the cage.
MacTavish wants to break the clinch but can't.
West stops a takedown attempt from MacTavish.
West lands a hook to the side of the head.
Still in the clinch, West scores with a nice short uppercut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
West lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, West creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
A left hand lands to the body for West.
West lands with a right to the head.
It looks like John MacTavish has been cut.
A nice right hand lands inside from West.
West breaks from the clinch.
Good shot there by West.
That's one minute gone in the round.
West avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
MacTavish takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
MacTavish looks winded!
Oooooh!!! West has knocked MacTavish down with a huge combo! West steps away and waves a wobbly MacTavish back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
MacTavish is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
West lands a big right hook! MacTavish looks hurt but is still standing! West lands a left jab and another right hook! This time MacTavish falls down and West dives in with a huge hammer fist! MacTavish's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and West runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
