Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wolf West (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Stevens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Wolf West! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Frank Stevens! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Chris Dean and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stevens is looking to clinch. Stevens throws a jab but it's blocked by West. Stevens takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. West bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Stevens's head. West lands with a good body shot. Good standup being displayed there by West as he connects with a hook. Stevens tries for a takedown but West sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. West cracks a nice hook into Stevens's ribs. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Stevens tries for a takedown but West circles away easily and West counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Wolf West seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stevens shoots in and drives through. West sprawls well. Wolf West has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Stevens. Stevens looks winded! West ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. West throws a series of strikes that have Stevens backpedaling.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts West, as that shot connected.
West ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. West scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. West is looking to wear down Stevens with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. West drives through and clinches with Stevens against the cage.
West can't find room to land a body shot as Stevens controls the action.
Stevens jumps guard but West turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Stevens blocks a punch to the side of the head.
West is trying to break free. West swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Stevens blocks a body shot from West. West pushes Stevens back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Stevens is trying to pull guard but West turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. A frustrated look appears on West's face as he tries to break the clinch. A quick uppercut on the inside from West. West works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
West misses with some punches.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. West has a couple of punches blocked by Stevens.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stevens fails to pull guard.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Stevens. West stalls. Stevens blocks an uppercut.
Stevens blocks a body shot from West. Stevens pulls guard effortlessly. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. West scoring with some ground and pound. West knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Stevens on the ground. Stevens preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Stevens keeping full guard, as West tries to pass. West working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Stevens is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. West is aware though and is defending well. Stevens keeping moving, preventing West from controlling successfully. West pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Stevens is keeping the position for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stevens is looking for a triangle but West pushes his legs off easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. West trying to control but Stevens is working from the bottom. Our spies down at at ATT inform us that Stevens has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? West trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Stevens has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but West can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Stevens looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Stevens pushes a forearm under West's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, West is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
